On January 1st (2017), I started with a personal project called “Lettering ‘till Christmas”. I have a weakness for Christmas festivities and decided to start a countdown to Christmas at the beginning of the year.

Even though the idea seems simple, the project turned out to be quite a challenge. It was a lot of work, combining these drawings with my work as a freelance designer. Although I’m pretty sure I will never be doing this again (really, what was I thinking?), I did learn a lot from this project.
